Street Closures and Parking Restrictions Announced

Race Weekend: July 6-7, 2024

The City of Chicago and NASCAR officials are reminding residents and visitors to be aware of significant street closures that will begin in preparation for the 2024 Chicago NASCAR race. The course setup and breakdown are expected to take a total of 19 days, down from the 25 days required in 2023. The Chicago NASCAR race weekend will be held on July 6-7, 2024. Street closures and parking restrictions will be in effect throughout the weekend in the following areas:

Street Closures

• Wells Dr from Michigan Ave to Columbus Dr.

Parking Restrictions

• No parking will be allowed on any street within the race course perimeter.
